| 'Not Nanaimo Bar' Squares |
"Growing up for some cause we noted these as 'Oh Henry Squares'. I've no concept why, however I even have not served them with out people soliciting for the recipe and rave critiques. I do not know the starting place. It's just been handed on via my family."
Ingredients :
- half cup peanut butter
- half cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup corn syrup
- 2 cups cornflakes cereal
- 1 cup crispy rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies®)
- 2 cups confectioners' sugar
- 2 tablespoons custard powder
- 1/2 cup margarine, melted
- 1 tablespoon heat water, or as needed
- 4 (1 ounce) squares semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 2 tablespoons margarine

- Grease an 8x8-inch square pan.
- Cook and stir peanut butter, brown sugar, and corn syrup together in a huge pot over medium heat simply until heat and well blended, approximately 3 minutes; do away with from warmness.
