North Carolina Pulled Pork

"I were given this from an North Carolina native and it is the satisfactory. It is pretty plenty foolproof. This is made inside the sluggish cooker."

  • 2 pounds red meat shoulder roast
  • salt and floor black pepper to flavor
  • half of cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup pink wine vinegar

Instructions :

Prep : 15M Cook : 6M Ready in : 9H15M
  • Preheat slow cooker on Low for 15 mins.
  • Season red meat shoulder with salt and pepper; area pork in preheated gradual cooker. Mix ketchup, brown sugar, and vinegar in a bowl; pour over pork.
  • Cook on Low for 8 hours. Transfer beef to a big platter and slice into 3 to 4 pieces. Shred meat with 2 forks and go back to slow cooker. Continue to prepare dinner for 1 hour.

Notes :

  • Try the use of a Reynolds® gradual cooker liner on your sluggish cooker for less difficult cleanup.
