Mom's Spaghetti Bolognese

"Recipe passed on from my Italian grandfather. The last comfort food. Leftovers freeze well! To make this recipe greater real, you could use a combination of ground veal, red meat, and beef. You also can alternative the balsamic vinegar for half of cup of pink wine."

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 slices bacon, diced

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 pound lean floor pork
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 2 (28 ounce) cans crushed tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • salt and floor black pepper to flavor
  • 2 tablespoons chopped sparkling basil
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions :

  • Bring a massive pot of gently salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the spaghetti within the boiling water until cooked thru yet organization to the bite, approximately 12 minutes; drain.
